Historial of the Great War

An extraordinary museum which gives you all possibilities to understand the impact of this total war for French, German and British. It considers not only the battles, the exhibition is more the place to understand the war societies, the influence in economy, education, the handling of grief, to keep contact to war prisoners, to meet other cultures and to forget the fighting for a few hours behind the lines. The museum has also a huge collection of music instruments handcrafted by the soldiers on leaf and a big number of art works.

By the way, this is also the museum where my love story started, because initially I came for this museum to France; so of course it is a must see site.
